Well I am in Texas where turn signals are never used...but no I have 5 signal lane changer.

Red is not an option out of the box. I replace amber with Red. I have red interior and its also the easiest at night on eyes...

wider angle so you have much less of a blind spot. they are often stock in europe, but because of the "distortion" they are not offered as stock in the US.

They've saved my butt a few times in the past.

That driver side mirror costs almost four times more than the passenger

I *always* do a quick over-the-shoulder check if all my mirrors tell me everything's safe and I want to change lanes. I do wish they gave the other mirror here by default though.

Many eons ago, someone had to swerve out of the way into a different lane (thankfully) because I'd trusted my mirrors and merged into a blind spot I didn't know I had. I've never skipped the shoulder check since then and the memory of my mistake is seared in my mind a decade later.

Might be a n00b question, but how did you code it? I started this thread a while ago (https://g80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1856760) and would love to know if however you coded things up whether the Sport HUD can be coded to be allowed in Road mode (such as through M1/M2 buttons)?

For sure. I agree that you definitely need to do the whole look over your shoulder thing, and I try to do that always. Although, I'm just happy to have the extra layer of warning in case I have a sudden brain fart while changing lanes.

I think that feature still hasn’t been implemented….doubt it will now since there is a “designated” button for it. Unless outside coding will allow us to do such feature.
