OEM radio switches between regular and HD FM stations

Anybody else have this issue?

It seems that in my area some FM stations are received as HD radio, but then intermittently (maybe the signal becomes slightly weaker or something), they drop to "non-HD" radio. When this happens I see the HD indicator on the OEM radio turn off, and the song actually seems to skip, most likely because the regular and HD feeds are just slightly out of sync when they are broadcast.

Yeah I have noticed the same thing in my car when listening to fm. I haven't found a way to disable HD radio but to be honest I haven't spent much time looking.

I have HD disabled. I could not stand the switching.

Yep, I have the same laggy/doubled up feed and the same self-diagnosis of why it was happening.

Everything posted is correct. IIRC it's in one of the menu buttons on the audio. Maybe the little note or the one in the same polace on the other side?

Yes when i bought my car I thought something was wrong with the radio and almost brought it into the dealer. Then I figured out it was the HD/Non-HD switchover that was causing the problem.

I never understood the benefit to HD on FM. I Know when I listen to the Yankee games WCBS out of NYC they broadcast their AM signal in HD and it sounds great, but FM I notice nothing.

Just play around with the menus till you find it. It's there. At least in a non idrive car.

FYI, I found it. You just push the option for "SET" when you are in the radio mode and it's a checkbox option in there.
