Bluetooth not working

My bluetooth has worked for month's but it now is not. I had my phone paired, had it dial a call and I heard nothing...tried to talk but nothing. My wife said it dialed her number but the line was dead when she answered. I called back and tried again. She said on one of the calls she could hear me swearing at my phone but I never heard her when she tried to talk to me.
I figured it was my cell phone. I took it in to my cell phone store and had them look at it. The guy brought out his Blackberry and paired it up to my car...it didn't work. Same problem as with my phone.
I guess I will need to take it in to BMW.

Not cool. I would take it in for service in a heartbeat.

It will be going in soon. I have an oil change booked this week so they can check it out.

Okay...here's the verdit. My phone is a Samsung and it is not on the compatible list. They did a check of my Bluetooth with a approved phone (it was a Blackberry) and it worked fine. I asked why it worked for 9 months before it stopped working. They said that happens sometimes. The tech said phones or networks are always uploading new software and that might affect it. Guess I will have to check out that list of phones when I renew my phone contract next year!
