Can we navigate to our address book from bluetooth?
Does anyone know if the address book that is synced via bluetooth with my smartphone (which contains full addresses) can be used for navigation, or do I need to make an entry for each of them with the idrive controller
Thanks

Thanks Paul
I almost waited for the 09 (almost skipped out on my ordered car I just took delivery of mid July) just for this. Oh well. That’s too bad, it would make for much easier driving to select three letters of a contacts name versus inputting their entire address.

Voice program your numbers into the bluetooth and use it to voice dial out. Its much easier and you won't take your eyes off the road.

IE I have 300 contacts in my windows mobile phone. Each has a full address. When I need to travel to a new place (for work anyhow) the contact is always in my globally synced list. Rather than having to put in a complex address out of state, it would be cool to just pick it from that list rather than having to look it up in the phone first, then manually input it with a joystick. If someone patches nav to do this , I'll buy it!
