Car Wash w/ Rear Steering

I have noticed that when pulling into the car wash, if I need to move left or right to line up properly, the rear wheels will hit the rails.

I finally figured out that it is because of the rear steering is throwing it off. Is there any way to deactivate the steering for issues like this?

Garage List
First I have never seen this with cars with 4 wheel steering and this G70 is my 4th. Second, I believe somewhere in idrive there is a "carwash" setting. I don't know exactly what it does as I have never had a need for it. Maybe it is because in the cash was I use (infrequently), the car is driven straight on to the rails and then of course is in neutral.

If they still have a version of the owners manual embedded in iDrive…open it and do a keyword search for CARWASH to see if you have a setting in PDC designed to help with going through one.

If the front wheels are straight, then the rear wheels are straight, too. So if the front wheels are straight within the rails…the rear wheels should be straight, too. The rear wheels shouldn’t be turning independent of the front wheels…aka front wheels are straight but rear wheels are turned.

EDIT: found this video on youtube about the various camera views…one of them is a CarWash view
