M badge on fenders

What do you guys think about putting M badge on the fenders? I think BMW put it as standard everywhere except US models (example photo below) . Also should it be chrome or blacked out "M" letter?

I personally prefer not to have it as I think it looks cleaner on a car like the 7.

I like the idea and implemented it! Of course it is a matter of personal taste and feel as well. Since I have the M package, albeit a weak argument, a qualifying criteria in my opinion. May be not for the fully electric i7, but ok for the gas/hybrid 760 or 740? I will allow it! I feel like I wanna be a part of the M 50th Anniversary legacy, a tiny piece…the back row is fine. I am glad that we live in this period where we still get to experience gas powered cars as well as see the transition into electric cars, and it is a matter of time that we will only have fake engine sounds. This evolution/revolution is underway already. We will certainly miss this moment in time!

If you have an M engine (S68 in 760) that automatically qualifies the M badge 😃 can you please share photos of how it looks on your car? Did you go for chrome badge or blackened M badge? Also what measurements did you use to place it?

I did no really measure, it was just a visual estimate. And thanks. I bought the black m emblems online, I initially had the chrome ones but the black M badge looks better.

I knew you all would say that about the 50th logo 🫢😔 that is why I hesitated to post the picture initially but it will be coming off soon. The M likely to stay. I got a little over excited about the 50th! I plead guilty of temporary insanity!

Is it just me or is the M badge not quite level?

Good eye! You are correct. A subtle slant!
And the sticker logo is gone. To post pics over the weekend.

If it was an M7 yes.

They seem to put an M badge on anything nowadays.
