Stupid automatic door

My hands were tied so I closed the rear door by pushing it with my arm and the automatic door motor got engaged and I left the car (one of the ways to close the door per manual is that you just push it a bit towards the car and automatic door should take over and close it all the way). Got up this morning and saw in the app that rear door is open. Went to the car and saw the door is a bit open like the photo below. Lesson learned, don't trust the automatic door and watch it to fully shut the door before leaving the car.

That’s not good. You’d think the soft close feature would’ve kicked in and closed it shut.
