Factory Frozen Deep Grey or Dravit & Stealth PPF?
Planning to order a 760 to replace 8-series lease which is up early next year. I'm set on a matte finish, but would like to get thoughts on whether to go with the factory frozen and just do PPF on high impact areas and ceramic coat, or go with the Dravit and do stealth PPF and ceramic. My guess is that cost for upgraded paint or the stealth PPF would be about the same, but have heard that upkeep on factory frozen can be a pain.
Any feedback from those that have experience with the frozen and/or stealth PPF would be appreciated! Last edited by BKgreyinTX; 11-28-2022 at 03:36 PM.. |

great look, easy to maintain, only certain body shops can repaint these properly but it can be done. Would have no hesitation again as long as it wasn’t a car parked outside for long stretches. PPF prob even easier and less stress if a body repair is needed. I suspect that option would net cost $1-2k more.

Anyone know if auto insurance companies account for paint.
Unless mistaken, matte or two-tone would seem to be a more costly repair. Unsure if nominal, however. |

From what I've seen, dravit loses the gold flake effect with stealth - perhaps you'd be better off going with a more traditional dark metallic grey + stealth

That was my concern as well. I've now somewhat fallen for Brooklyn Grey after seeing a few delivery pics, lol! I'll make my mind up at some point.
