Driver assistance plus issues

I just received my car today and the assistance plus feature which lets you take off your hands from the steering wheel was working great and then suddenly the function disappeared and no matter what i do it doesn’t come up again. I think it might be a software problem. Anyone tried this option yet ?

That function (like BlueCruise and SuperCruise) only works on mapped highways. In BMW's case, the mapping is done by HERE Maps.

It is possible that you went on a road that is currently not mapped, so that functionality is not available.

Isn’t it divided highways only?

According to the dealership Genuis it should work on most roads for speeds between 40-80 but for some reason it stopped working for me. Maybe he doesn’t know what he is talking about. I am visiting then today to check what we can do.
