Where Are The...???
No, not the cupholders. They do appear to be there under the armrest.
My question is...where are the nice big calipers that the stock 135i has? I thought I read that BMW had some agreement with Brembo and we'd be seeing BBKs on future models . I'm still surprised that the 1-series has it, but not the M models.

It will be interesting to see what options BMW Performance comes out with. The standard exhaust sounded a bit lifeless in the videos so that's definitely an option that needs to be available.
The standard wheels are 17" and the brakes look to fill those pretty well from the pictures, but I don't recall seeing anything to confirm or deny how many pistons the calipers have. |

Maybee they are simply not branded as Brembo but use their technology? But even if they are regular BMW OEM, I've always thought the OEM BMW brakes were excellent (once you change the lines) so I don't see any problem with BMW sticking with its own technology for braking
