I don't see how or why they would put a 6MT in this.

So what you're telling us is that RWD models, currently, are being sadbagged and can handle the power in stock form.
Eitherway, the CSL will be pretty damn epic.

Hopefully they will offer the G82 M4 CSL with 6MT. However we all know the market for that car with stick shift is so small .

Hopefully they go with a DCT like the original and a carbon intake. The thump from the original gearbox and the sound of the air box was worth the price of admission alone

Hmm I should put my deposit down now. But to be honest, I would only buy it if the weight goes down significantly. Currently it's so heavy. Even a 200lbs diet from its current weight is still too heavy for a CSL.

Will wait to see what happens with this car. The F82 GTS was a disaster and their prices dropped like a rock for quite some time and reviews of the car weren't very favorable.

Highly doubt it will be that cheap.
F82 M4CS base was $104,095 F82 M4GTS base was $133,205 I would hope the CSL also has a roll cage, carbon buckets, adjustable dampers, etc., which means the price tag should be at or beyond that of the previous gen GTS. I would hope they keep the CS at or below the $100k mark, though I would love for them to be priced around $120k once loaded up again and sit on the lots untouched for several months. The timing will work out to be able to steal one of those when my current steal of a lease is due up.

And I expect the CSL MSRP to be north of $150k.

Almost guaranteed to be auto only. BMW has said multiple times they didn't want to/couldn't make a manual to handle that much power. Mostly down to how it would feel.

RWD means it could potentially come in manual. However, given the commitment to track speed and immense power, unlikely. I'm curious how aggressive they get with the weight savings.

Here's my question, would you rather have a
540 hp, 3600 lbs, 8 speed auto gearbox, I6 TT, that can seat 2 people in carbon bucket seats for $115K (Guessing the price here) or a 600+hp, 3400 lbs, 8 speed DCT, NA FPC V8, that can seat 2 people in carbon bucket seats for the same price? When you go over the six figure mark, the competition gets really heavy and that C8 Z06 is going to be a freaking monster. However...if this came in a proper manual, that opens up the door to a lot more buyers.
