Main difference between DCT Settings D1, D2 and D3 modes

Anyone know the main differences between The DCT setting D1, D2 and D3 modes. Does the D3 setting also increase the clutch clamping force vs D1 and D2?

Not sure about clutch clamping, but all I know is the higher the setting, the more aggressive the shifts and the higher in the rpm range the car will holds its gear before shifting. ie, D1 (default when the car turns on) is economy mode, the car will upshift as soon as it sees fit to preserve fuel economy; this obviously makes for a REALLY boring drive. D2 will not upshift till around 2500rpm, to provide a bit of better performance, and D3 is the most aggressive, and will not upshift till around 3000-3500rpm. I typically drive in D3.
