I ordered a pair of reflectors from a UK company (an independent BMW parts specialist). The company is called MotorMec. "www.MotorMec.co.uk"
They charged me the parts cost plus 10 pounds for mail shipping. The total bill was 26 pounds (about $55). It took about 3 weeks to get them. Talk to Andy. Part Numbers 51418176418 (nuts) 63147162738 63147162737 Last edited by EdmM3; 02-24-2008 at 08:13 PM.. |

thanks for the post bhorne@eba.ca; great tip to people looking for them over here. I wonder if it'd be equal pricing to the US or cheaper.

I don't think you can buy them in the U.S. or Canada.
I tried installing them today. A little harder than I thought. They are held by nuts which are difficult to access. You have to partially remove the plastic inner fender to get at the nuts. It might be easier to use some two sided tape. |

Ya I know they cant be bought in the US or Canada hence the high premium for them. Just meant if it was shipped from Europe to US vs Canada if it'd be any different.
I've heard that the install was hard looks like another review under the hard division. If I ever get a set I'll try the double sided tape method. I have a black car so tinting it worked fine for me. |

Nice link bhorne. I'll have to order these and post my first Zpost DIY! Woot!
BimmerZ... did you take the reflectors off to tint them or did you just do it while they were still attached?
