50th edition emblems

So random question, will those of us who ordered 2022's have the 50th edition emblems? I know the article I read said those who order 2022s will get 50th edition emblems. My car won't be delivered until January or February but I ordered it in November and its already waiting at the port. Will it have the emblems? Would they show on the build sheet?

I believe only builds from January on will have the ability to option the different Roundels. Since you are at the port you'd have to buy and install them after the fact.

I think it's from February onwards as January builds don't have an option for it

Would of been nice if they just added them to all 2022's. To bad it has to be an "option" that needs to be selected. I don't modify my vehicles so I guess Ill just have to deal with not having them lol.

It will be an option on M Performance models, but all US M cars will get them standard.

I really want to like the emblems as conceptually it's special, and I'd be happy to pay for them after the fact, but I can't get myself to think they look good.

They're too busy in an off-putting way to the point if they had included it for free on the full 2022 G8X range, I may have paid to get the normal emblems.

The only ones I think are an upgrade are the painted roundels from iND. If they didn't have such a long lead time, I'd have used them instead of the stock replacements that were ordered for my car during PPF install.

100% agree, I would have paid to have them replaced with normal roundels. By the way all 2022 MY cars are technically 50 year anniversary. I don’t believe BMW marketing dept bought the rights to the calendar yet

I like the anniversary Roundels as well but they really would only work on certain colors. Definitely would look right on yours or my car colors.

I'm glad I'm not alone here. They don't look...awful...but they don't look right either. Definitely too busy.

Sounds like a thriving barter system in the offing: those who received 50th anniversary emblems who want the standard ones, and those with standard roundels who covet the anniversary emblems. Let the games begin!!
