Finally got the rest of my washing setup mounted and had it plumbed. Still need to get a shorter supply line but at least it’s functional now. Maiden voyage will be later tonight I hope, pretty stoked to try it out here. JB4 and MST intake also came in but uh… still need 500 miles to break in

I've been looking at Euro Active Retrofits - they have full custom wheels that purportedly retain both heating and driver assist plus. I'm a bit leery - they have some questionable reviews, but, man, I want to believe

Sounds good. Did you have to pry anything off that was stuck with 3M tape? Saw that on one video. Been watching videos on this and kind of dreading it. I thought I was the on,y one bothered by this. The rolls and rolls of kitchen towels used in packing topped with almost unopenable bubble wrap and tape make for a frustrating opening experience. I guess getting a part safely counts more than having to open all that up and disposing of the packing material.

Who said you have to toss it? Reuse when you ship something at some point. I just got my painted reflectors in yesterday and I know what you're speaking about, but I'd rather them be more careful vs not using enough packaging.

Read a few posts on HK setup. Gigantic difference! Before I'd say it was 10% "right" and now it's about 90% compared to my all-time favorite (B&O in the Audi). A little more tweaking and I'll be happy.
Figured I paid for the system, may as well not have it sound like a tin-can.

Can you post some of the basic things that you did? I did the bimmercode B&W settings and that helped a bit. But, it's still so far from my F82 HK that it's still disappointing.

This got me pretty close with my HK.

Tone Settings
Bass: +6
Treble: +4
Balance: 0
Fader: 0 (original OP had 0, I prefer a little more rearward in my M4)
L7 Surround: Enabled (and I went +)

Equalizer
100 Hz: +9
200 Hz: +7
500 Hz: +6
1 kHz: +5
2 kHz: +6
5 kHz: +3 or 4
10 kHz: +6 to 9 (Depends on what u prefer)

addendum: HUGE improvement. Also set up my favorite presets and ranked in order, then played with the reminder setting (XM, which I never subscribe to beyond trial period, lets you know when favorite artist or song is playing elsewhere). I was fine not putting effort into sound system first 2 weeks cuz the engine noise and getting to know M4 was priority, but now we're doing longer drives, and she's a real music lover. Oh, so nice!
