I'm very conflicted with these badges. I think overall alone by far they look great. My biggest problem is the fact there's gloss black on the car even if you get the exterior carbon option. The side skirts, certain part of the diffuser and even the front grille itself is black. From the side look with the black side skirt it doesn't seem to quite blend together? I've been back and forth on getting these. I have a frozen dark grey on order and not sure how these would look.

Completely understand. I think the side profile actually looks better with the carbon mirror caps (so they are not the only thing carbon from the side) as you can see the side skirt with the front/rear diffuser black bits. Just my opinion. Here’s a little farther out. Crappy photos in cold/wet conditions. Can get better later if you’d like.

That is precisely why I’m having the M performance carbon fiber side rockers installed today on my car. I will do the front lip next and then the back after that. It is kind of cheesy that you pay for the carbon fiber package from the factory and the whole cart isn’t done but the good news is we can do it ourselves piece by piece later on. Having said that the carbon fiber badges on the side that you were referring to looks so much better than stock. It’s a no brainer regardless if you do the side rockers in carbon fiber.

Does the side skirt have a "lip" by the front of the rear tire. I hate openings like that. If it's flush I would totally be interested in doing that as well. I am blow away with how expensive these side pieces are as well.

The exterior carbon fiber pack was a hard choice for me while I was ordering due to the price and what you get in return. I ended up getting it. Like you I would of definitely would felt it was more justifiable if the side skirts and side badges were also carbon fiber as well.

It's the R44 lip. I was 50/50 about that also but I went for it, had it ready to fit on the car when I collected it. It never comes out in pictures well but it's something I now couldn't imagine the car without. On your spec it would be a no brainier, I have their carbon side blades also and same as above fwiw.
