Found out today that my build was assigned to September, week 39. Originally August, but September will have to do

Type : M3C AWD
Individual colour: Santorini blue
Interior colour: Fjord Blue/Black
Location: British Columbia
Options: Canada Ultimate package; - M Carbon Bucket Seats; + Ventilated Seats; +Carbon Fibre Trim

Damn… I guess all Canadian individual paints are in week 39 then. I started to worry if Fiona red interior will have the same impact, too. Still didn't hear back from my SA

Curious how you ordered carbon buckets with ventilation? Didn't even think that was physically possible on those seats?

On one hand, great to have some company here

That said, sorry to hear about you all in the same late build week. So far, it looks like things are on track. My dealership order coordinator has his own order in August and says it is on track, so hopefully that is a good sign that we aren't facing our own delays due to the supply-chain problems with chips.

I didn't. The MY22 options in Canada now have an Ultimate package that allows removal of the buckets, while MY21s "forced" you to take buckets with the Ultimate option package.

Edit: I see how my summary was confusing. (-) delete M Carbon Buckets.

I have my VIr report and dealership said their allocation will be here next week. I assume I will be in week 39 also since manufacturer will be down in August for vacation and retooling.

I got my allocation with individual paint on July 23rd with a Week 37 build. I couldn't figure out why you'd have a later build week until I went through the options - the only material thing I haven't ordered is the Carbon bucket seats compared to you. Knowing that the CB seats are labor intensive to produce (and it's produced in-house at BMW), it could be why the weeks got pushed?

Perhaps? Could be anything. Paint batching etc. Did you get the carbon ceramic brakes? Another post indicated there may be delays there too.

You're right - it could be CCB too; I don't have that either.. Missed catching that going through your options. The CB seats seemed to stand out more when parsing all posts in the thread.

Those of us with September builds should expect updates in August. We'll see impacts/adjustments then, if I understand how the scheduling works. Fingers crossed that I get pulled in from week 39

Nice build. I just got confirmation on my Build for week 40 for Voodoo Blue as well but with Tartufo interior.

You'd think they would batch up the same individual colors for the same week. Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll pull me to your week.
