Brakes in Comfort vs Sport Plus

What's the difference between the two? I Googled a bit and I read that maybe it has to do with engine braking, but I have a base 6MT, so that doesn't really come into play for me.

Did you look it up in your owners manual? It describes it there.

The two settings are Comfort and Sport. Not sure where you got Sport Plus.

It merely changes the sensitivity of of the brake pedal. Same exact concept of the Engine settings except you get 3 sensitivity levels for accelerator pedal sensitivity.

Sport probably helps people with poor reaction times to go harder, earlier in pedal travel. I've never switched that setting out of comfort in the short time I've had the car though. But it's Sport Plus on the drivetrain all day, every day.

I don't really notice a difference between comfort and sport for the brakes, at least not enough of one for me to remember off hand. Maybe if you're driving it'll be easier to tell.

When I drove a G80 on track, the sport setting felt super grabby, almost unsettling. I prefer to leave it on Comfort and use my foot to modulate the break.

Depends how you like the brake pedal feel. I started in comfort as sports felt too aggressive then after a while switched to sport and got used to it. Now that is my daily setting.

These cars are brake by wire, meaning the pedal is not totally controlling braking, the computer is.

Sport braking does bite harder and to me also feels too grabby. Its not a feel I can get used to.

I played with it a bit yesterday, there is no "play" in the sport mode, as soon as you press it, it grabs. Would be good for a track day.

For every day, it is way too aggressive. I wish there was a mode in between, in my non broken in breaks it takes a bit before the brake kicks in. Maybe because I didn't "bed" the brakes like you are supposed to.
