Mine was received 7/30 and now it's 2 weeks shy of 3 months. I was told 3 months is pretty standard for a factory order, so given the current logistics issue and parts shortage I don't think 4 months of wait time is that bad. Mine didn't go through any QC delay so most likely it'll have the stop sales once it gets to stateside VPC. Hopefully yours doesn't. |

Realistically, I'm prepared for a late December date, wouldn't mind going into 2022 as that would further space out both of my M's to get back on schedule to qualify for the BMWCA rebates. I pre-signed my F95 lease end of December 2020, but didn't take delivery until January 2021 as this G83 build would qualify for the BMWCA rebate for calendar year 2021. Positive is that there may be additional holiday incentives, but I highly doubt it since there is minimal dealership stock, as incentives would be needed to move metal year end.

The other forum member is heading to Pittsburgh; I'm driving home to northwestern lower Michigan. I have winter tires here awaiting the car's arrival. If I encounter winter weather, I'll just park the car and wait for the weather to pass. My route is all interstate highway from Louisville to within 50 miles of home, so roads that early in the season should be okay. |

You can check ship schedules using the sticky “ordering & tracking” thread. Doing so helped me manage my expectations of when my car might be assigned a vessel and when I might know it had been loaded (2 days after-the-fact). That was the longest 12-day wait since production was scheduled (but not actually begun). |

Well I falsely assumed my car had left port last week. Just reached out to the Genius to see what's going on. Car was delivered to the port on the 11th and is waiting for transport. No other info provided.

Been stuck at QC status for two weeks now - I was week 40 supposedly, thinking I’m more like week 42-43 at best now - started at week 35 when order was received 7/22 😂

What's really frustrating is that there's no way to find out what's going on just sitting at one process. I appreciate the 'Track Status' page that shows where it's at, but providing a little more detail is definitely possible with modern manufacturing & traceability. Hope yours jump through all the steps in between and show 'In Transit' in a few days. |
