Today a Civic (not Type R) with license plate frame reading "Fast AF...Beware" pulled alongside in crowded lunchtime traffic and "raced" while we were doing 35 in a 35. Where is anyone going, Mr. Civic? Everyone heard and watched him rev, race, fast lane change, wait, speed off breaking the 40mph barrier.

Minutes later a clapped out Infiniti G35X (yep, the stereotype lives) with aftermarket chrome exhaust held on by bailing wire did the same: rev, "race", cut over, wait, speed off.

I actually quite enjoyed their bravado.

Some random Mustang side by-side at a light. It was shiny and well-kept. I very gently accelerated on green and let him pull first. Once he was half a car length ahead, I pushed. It was over in 2 seconds - I was 4-5 car lengths ahead.

This was yesterday and i don't know what it was honestly because i was hauling ass and came across this dickhead that came out of his exit and crossed 2 lanes without signaling to get in front of me.

It was all black, debadged. I think it was a hyundai genesis coupe?

After i hit the brakes, i then signaled to go around him and i know he didn't like that so he tried to accelerate with me. But of course i passed him with ease. Looked at the speedo and saw a good 3 digit number and looked in my rearview and noticed he hasn't given up. He was really trying to go after me lol.

So i stabbed the throttle again, increasing the gap. Then looked again in my rearview and saw he signaled to take the other side of the split of the highway.

He had no chance but it's cool he tried.

My mailman, a car guy, jokingly calls my M4CX a Genesis Coupe. He used to call my Tesla "the prius". I laugh with him because I like not having mail disappear.

Yeah i think if i was driving my M3LR, that genesis would have eventually caught up on the top end since my car starts to throw the parachute around 110. It falls flat on it's face.

That's why my next tesla is going to be a plaid. I'll literally be unbeatable.

When you're done with the break in, unless you're going to put a JB4 or something, you'll have no chance against a C7Z.

Especially if you're from TX and you have a bunch of "stock" looking LMR C7Z's around with their 850hp packages? Good luck.

no doubt brother. That Z06 was not stock. Once the warranty is over will add some HP. Some cars we just can't beat.

A Ford Fiesta. Dude cheated and ran a stop sign to keep me from merging over but it still wasn't even close. I did get a chuckle out of the attempt. Guess he missed that Xdrive badge on the back of my 440, M4 fun coming soon, status 193.

Tesla Model 3. Oh this tasted really good. On the way home near PCH, I'm at a red light in front with a car to my right. I see a Model 3 headlights quickly approach and stop rather close to the rear bumper. Of course I smile and hit the M1 paddle and patiently wait for the green. As it goes green I out-accelerate the car next to me to give him a chance to get next to me. He takes the bait, he's now next to me. We are on a street I'm VERY familiar and confident with. The light ahead turns yellow and we slow to a stop.

Green goes the light we're both on it, probably 0-50 he's half a car ahead then after that I reel him easily. Once he was at my rear bumper I let off and waved (top was down) as he drove past. I couldn't tell if it was a Model 3 Performance with the red underline thing. It did look lower than most.

I owned a 2021 Model 3 AWD LR and had Acceleration Boost for a trial (claimed .5s to 60, never Draggy'd). My best friend owns the M3P. Compared to my M4CX, not using launch control, even my stock Model 3 would crush my BMW to 40. The M3P is more deadly to 40. I believe the main diff in the M3P and regular 3 is 0 to 40, not to 60. After 50 or 60 or so they all drop anchor and my M4 is much scarier/faster. Not quicker, faster. Rarely do I have a clear empty public street to do 60+ at WOT. No regrets selling the quicker Tesla for daily driving since I haven't done the 0 to 60 since showing every friend and family member in the first month of ownership. No one cares how quick my M4CX is to 60. They want a ride because the looks, sound, handling, brakes, interior, build quality. The $20/month electricity vs $50 per week premium gas is worth it. A drag racer my M4CX is not.
