Most are getting repaired at the destination port. My G83 is 3 days from the Galveston port with 2 stop sales still on it.

Did you find out about the stop sales when the car was in Germany / at the port / on the ship, or after it was stateside?

I found out 2 days after it got to the port in Germany. The day before I was told it didn't have any.

Cool thanks. My SA called Monday with the good news that I was on a ship and said no stop sales. Trying not to get my hopes up too much

Do you have the parking assist package?

Well if it's any consolation I've been waiting since I placed my order in May and was stuck in quality check since 7/22

In terms of the stop sales, I'm not sure there's any rhyme or reason to who knows what, when. At all times during production, and while it made the trip to the port in Germany, the Genius line (live assistance) was showing no stop sales on my ordered G80, and everything was looking good. Within a day of arriving at the port, I found out about the RAM stop sale.

Week 37 build, finished on time (minus the RAM), at the port for about a week, no vessel assigned yet.

Yes, among other things but I was originally week 29 and know others have gotten their cars with similar or more packages than me (some with stop sales, others without)

Congrats to all who are on a boat (or better)!

Trying to get a sense of whether most week 37 cars are already "in transit", or if I'm in good company sitting at the port going into a third week still. Headed to the port in NJ, once it gets moving. Thanks!

I just went into transit this morning. Given ship schedules, I'm assuming the tracker was 2 days late compared to actual status this time.

ETA in CA should be Nov 8th. But there's a stop sale, so whatever further delay that introduces. And then the transit up to Washington State. December if I'm lucky.

Week 37 G83 arrived in Galveston today with only RAM stop sale. No engine stop sale on this G83.

Great to see that our week's cars are starting to land.

Looks like we're right on the cusp at the end of the new main bearing stop sale though. I checked the BMW UK recall site, and so far (fingers crossed), I have the RAM (which I knew about) but not the main bearing stop. What are others seeing?

My G80 finished production on 9/24 - one day after the "production date" window ended for the G80 main bearing stop sale, as per the bulletin posted on this forum this afternoon - but that's a bit close for comfort. And who knows whether "production date" means started, middle, or finished production.

This ALMOST makes me miss the good old days of plenty of dealer inventory, picking something on the lot that was close-enough to what you wanted, working a 10%+ off sticker deal, driving home and just enjoying it...

So I found out that my car's on the Lyra Leader (and not what I thought it was going to be). But I'm still figuring out how to find when it's arriving state side. I know it's on its way to Southampton now but that isn't particularly useful to know.

Lands at Port Hueneme on 11/5. I'm on the same boat, albeit I have the RAM stop sale so I'll be stuck at the VPC for some time.

I've the RAM stop sale too so we're going to have similar experiences quite likely. I've reached out to my SA to potentially add port installed accessories to take advantage of this mess (winglets and side skirts). Depends on what they offer for my trade-in and quote for those parts.

I've got the rear winglets and side sills sitting here at the house ready to install once it finally arrives.

Here's to hoping they get a batch of the modules not long after we arrive at the port. 🤞🏻

When do you think it will get to port in Baltimore?

It won't be going to Baltimore. It goes from Southampton to Charleston then straight to Port Hueneme.
