Did the 11/2023.50 Update delete the burbles and made the exhaust quieter?
I have an Active Autowerke Equal Length Midpipe + Active Autowerke Valved Rear Axle-back paired with an Awron Valve Controller installed about 9 months ago. After the update about two weeks ago, I noticed the car became a lot more tame and I do not hear any burbles when I take my foot off the pedal. The exhaust note has become a lot more calm and timid.
Has anyone else noticed this? I’m taking my vehicle to European Autosource for a check up and I wanted to know if anyone else is facing the same issue? |

The software update thread had people mention but others haven't noticed a difference, myself included.

Stock. No change or sounds a bit better. FWIW I got told any improvement in burbles was my imagination and I’m okay agreeing with that. Didn’t lose anything though.

Check your M1, M2 and 'Sound Control' settings. They get reset after software updates. Bonus: enable your remote start if you have it, that gets reset too as well as some other settings

Tried all of these. I re-enabled the remote start as well but I def see something off. Hopefully nothing is wrong with the exhaust or engine. Will keep you guys posted once I learn more from EAS

I skipped that update and went straight to 03/2024, and with a midpipe the asd burbles are there.

Full catback but stock tune, haven’t messed with any engine stuff and I’m still burbling a ton at low speeds especially. Have had several people ask me if I put a burble tune on it and I’m like no it’s stock… 😂

Once you do the wire open mod to the exhaust and delete the secondary and first resonator you'll realize how much potential this car has for sure the car is able to breath sooooo much better

Unless you tune you won’t pick up more than a few HP with an exhaust. These cars breath pretty well stock. They don’t sound as good but maybe you pick up 10 HP? I know manufacturers claim 15+ but I picked up 8 HP on the top end with ER midpipe, Dinan exhaust, and RK Tunes front mounted intake on my ‘22 X3MC. 478 stock and 486 after all the mods.
