My bad. It has been a few years since I've worked with Karl and BMW Seattle. His LinkedIn still said he was there and that was the last email he used to contact me. Maybe kgelfen360 can provide you with Colin Kerber's email.

I just got delivery of a 2024 M4 there, Abderazzak Elhabbassi (Zak) was awesome since the moment I placed my order back in February, highly recommended.

Was your M3 the voodoo blue (I think that was the color) one that recently arrived? I was in the dealership last week adding some port install options on my M4 that received allocation on the 1st. That car had me rethinking my color options! That color is sick!

email: AbderazzakElhabbassi@lithia.com Congrats! I just ordered my M4 on 6/1 so really looking forward to delivery. From what I’ve been reading, 4 months is average time from allocation to delivery of the car. Did you experience any delays or was everything pretty smooth? |

I recently received allocation on my order at Seattle BMW and worked with Zach Vongprachanh, who has been great. Although my order process recently stated, everyone there has been really great and always willing to assist. Experiece thus far is 5 stars.

I went to Benchmark in Lynnwood and paid ~$9700 including tax for full XPEL PPF, three layers of ceramic, ceramic on the wheels, and 45% tint. The rental car was free and it took 8 days. They also installed my IND painted reflectors and repaired a few chips on the front bumper (in only 2500 miles!). I provided new badges for the trunk and the touch up paint. XPEL was not my first choice of film (I wanted STek), but their work was very high quality. The most consistent advice I received was that the installer is more important than the film. I talked to Mike at Benchmark and he had a very high attention to detail and has been doing PPF for >10 years. I can say his work on my car is absolutely seamless, as it should be considering the price. Oh and I got my M3 through Zak Elhabbassi too. He was great to deal with. Very communicative and helpful with the long wait! Deposit was placed in February 2022 and delivery was mid-March 2023. |

If anyone is looking for a good PPF shop, Seattle Clear Bra in Redmond is awesome. Probably around $7500 for it and they wrap most edges as much as possible and will loosen panels to get it done.

Based on the chips I developed in my front bumper in only a 2500 miles and the amount of glossy black trim, I think PPF is a good idea if you want to maintain the condition of the paint. It is also less hassle and maintenance. I don't have the time or inclination to wash my car every week, but I know when I get it washed or detailed, it will always look new again. I also drive my car everywhere - commute to work, grocery store, shops, movies, etc. It gives me peace of mind to have the whole thing protected. If it was a weekend car, I would at least cover the front bumper, front and rear fenders, and all black trim. |

As a different point of reference, I got full body PPF from Metropolitan Detail and this included coverage for nearly all M Performance Parts (including wing, side skirts, rear bumper winglets, front spoiler, fender CF vents, CF door skirt trim). I also go windshield protection film and wheels and calipers ceramic coated. I think it was around $13.5K all said and done.
There were other reputable places that would do it cheaper but I didn’t want anyone I didn’t already trust to touch the car.
