I'm assuming you've gone over them with a fine tooth comb. Is there even the slightest debate of quality?

I already have the OEM gold 827s, but I'd be in the same boat as you. As they are made in non-M sizes, it will be more interesting to see how many non-M cars they wind up on. I'd guess most M2/3/4 owners will spring for the OE 827s.

These replica wheels are very good to my application.

Needed a replica 827M forged in a very particular size, et, finish, and load rating wheel, as OEM sizes and specs were inappropriate for my car. Price was secondary to my specs, although I am not the kind of person that a $12000 set of wheels make sense at all. This vendor seems to have provided all of that and then some for a fair price to me so far.

Your mileage will vary, obviously.

Now I wait for my car to arrive and install these wheels/tires.

These are the better option as long as the QC is up to par. Everything is made in china, but the QC is what varies from brand to brand.

the OEM wheels need a spacer; these will fit anyway you'd like. My main concern is the forging process and contaminants of the metal. I think with the intricacy of these wheels they're well supported. If it was a 5 spoke wheel I'd be much more hesitant.

I fully agree; I change dailies too often to take a huge hit on wheels. Money aside its hard to justify buying wheels that need spacers. I feel uncomfortable hitting alligator alley speeds with spacers on the car. I don't care what anyone says; they're not as secure as a proper fitting wheel.

I checked out their site and the process page of their site. Everything looks great on paper. I'm interested to hear what you think once you receive them. I ended up reaching out to them last night to get the ball rolling.

Right for most of the aftermarket, but the OEM variants are made in Europe. Germany I believe for F/R Black and at least one axle of the golds. I think two of my gold ones may have been Poland, but I can't recall.

I was ready to buy the oem wheels; but $2k for a better fitment and more color options is nice! Only thing I care about is real are my watches lol

They got back to me quickly today. Sent them an email to see if they can do the bronze with a machine face like the 826m bi color wheels with a gloss tinted clear for depth and ease of cleaning. They said they do custom designs so I also asked for pricing to add a little dish to these similar to this wheel.

Thanks again for posting; I wasn't aware of the company and after doing a ton of research they seem to have high standards. I found posts from at least 50 others who have been running their wheels for some time.

Oh I didn’t realize that the OEM 827M wheels require spacers when fitting them on a G80 M3. Surprised to hear that considering the CS and CSL come with these wheels fitted from the factory.

They don't. They do if you want them pushed out to the max and tucked tight under the wells.

They’re the same fitment as the oem 826m wheels; not required, but I like oem plus.

9.5/10.5 both with a +20 offset

Yup, I think they look perfect with 12MM spacers in the front/back (that’s what I’m running and I’m probably biased)

Agreed, I was planning on doing 4 20s if the knock offs don’t work out. I think they’ll fit flush on the front and I can reuse the 15s on the back. Spacers make me uneasy; I think it’s more in my head, but idk.

Definitely tracking everyone's thoughts on the Forza wheels. I love the bronze 827M's, but at $3,400 it's a little steep. I'm thinking about getting these to swap the tires of my 826's and then put a A/S winter tire on the the 826's. I'm trying to keep it under 4K, which is what's I'm seeing for a dedicated winter set.

I decided to stick with the oem wheels. After an extra charge for paint, shipping and unanswered customs fees the price difference wouldn’t have been much. I was also worried about not being a fan of the color; I’ve seen these in person and know I love them! I love me some bronze!

I called my local parts department to see what they can do. Great otd price! Saves me a bunch of trips to my wheel guy.

There were 5 20s in the USA. He thinks I should have them within a week; two at the most!

Nice. Did you go with the Forza replicas? Curious to hear your take on the quality. And would appreciate it if you could share the offset and such that you specified on your custom order in order to get a flush fitment sans spacers.

Thanks

I'm in the same camp and didn't bother running spacers in the rear for my square 19 827 winter setup. It doesn't bother me

Nope, I got a good deal on the oem wheels locally. I posted the invoice a couple up so others could price match locally as well. Basically it’s German pricing without shipping, customs or headache.

For perfect fitment I’d look at the bbs, apex and bc thread. You’ll find exact specs of everyone’s fitment and can replicate others to a t.

Forza was 2080 base pricing for 20s, plus 500 to get a frozen bronze finish (standard is included), $900 for air shipping or 550 on a boat. After asking twice I still haven’t received a clear answer on customs fees. The savings weren’t enough to justify not using spacers, and no seeing the color in person ahead of time.

I would also need to keep my oem wheels to trade the car in; dealers don’t want aftermarket wheels. Now I can sell my 826 wheels to recoup some money and I still have factory wheels. If I curb my wheel I can order another from the dealer without any headache. It just didn’t make sense for the oem styling I prefer for this car; Bmw really nailed it with their designs.

I’d I was more adventurous I think they’re a good option. The guy was very responsive, detailed with his responses(except customs feels). I feel bad I didn’t pull the trigger, but to save $500. It was a no brainer to pick up wheels ready to bolt up than risk getting my wheels and having them damaged during installation. The savings could be more if I was less picky about the color and 4-6 weeks of shipping.

Appreciate the detailed response. Based on that, I think I'll go OEM as well. Thanks

P.S. Looking forward to seeing pics of your car with the new wheels

Looks great! Do you have a code for this color? I was trying to get an equivalent Prismatic Powders code and couldn't match it. Thanks!

Hey man, your wheels look great. I'm in between Performance Gold and Roman Bronze for 963M but wondering if you had a chance to compare swatches to your wheels after they finished? Was there any difference after clear coat? I think if the gold color is stronger afterwards, I'd go for Roman Bronze.
