M4 CSL / M3 CS (827M) wheels

I'm kind of digging the style of these, and the satin finish is also a plus.

M4 CSL (black)

Not sure on availability, but I'm waiting to hear back from GetBMWParts to see what they say. Another site already has them listed, and they are priced rather modestly.

That price is pretty low indeed. These are going to be the next upgrade for current G8x owners.

If you can read German, even cheaper, here, about $2,095 before shipping.

Got answers back from a few places.

GetBMWParts: Not yet available in US, no pricing yet
AlloyWheelsDirect: Fronts available, rears on backorder (no ETA)
Baum: Fronts available, rears on backorder (no ETA)

I'm waiting for Baum to confirm if these will fit with CCBs (I'm pretty sure they will).

With the Dollar sitting at 1:1 with the Euro, I may just put an order in.

Baum has weights listed at 10.8 and 11.0 KG each, which is a touch under the 826Ms.

Edit: The CSL comes standard with CCBs, so of course they will fit.

Awesome wheel, and kinda surprised at their pricing. Assuming this is a cast wheel and not forged. Figured the CSL would have forged wheels.

Based on the listed weights I'm pretty sure these are forged.

The black 826M wheels retail for about the same, but the bi-colors are pricier.

Damn....I like these wheels too! Figures, I just bought a full set of Jet Black 826M wheels for the Winter since they were about $300 a piece less expensive than the bi-color 826M wheels. Got a good deal on them though....

Front: $520.45 ea.

Rear: $573.10 ea.

Problem with matte wheels is they scratch easier and dull quicker than clear coated wheels.

**UPDATE**

My wheel orders have been cancelled by two different BMW online part sellers due to "the possibly of the wheels being damaged during shipping to my residence".

Pickup only from their warehouses.

So now I'm back at square one....

How's your communication with Baum? If I ask them more than 1 question, they still only answer 1 of them. I have an order in with them, but they aren't easy to communicate with, to me. I can't blame them, since they are in Germany, and reply to my emails in German, at which I need to translate. I want to order the 1000M wheels from them. They have the set for €3.960 eur, with tires, and TPMS. The pricing is less than half of what it is in the US.

Just ordered an M performance front lip and Alcantara/Carbon seat backs for the M Sport seats ($2,766.59 w/shipping & tax)....saved $573.34 compared to the best price I could find here in the States at a BMW parts site. Both parts were in stock.

Tip: DO NOT USE PayPal....over $100 higher than just using a credit card.

I really appreciate it. Even the website, has an automatic translator, but it doesn't translate everything. It's like the website is written in layers, and the translator only translates one layer at a time.

I was planing to use these for summer, but I run GTS wheels on my Macan in winter which are satin.

No issues so far, but I do have them ceramic coated.

My Macan GTS wheels are not ceramic coated, and they are definitely duller than they were two years ago....and I don't run them in Winter....

My powdercoated satin black Turbos I run in the summer (also ceramic coated) still look good too.

I have PCCBs which keep the wheels pretty clean...so maybe that helps as well.

Possibly. I always thought brake dust does a job on matte wheels. My GTS has the standard iron rotors and 20" black Spyders.

With all the brake dust the M3/M4 with standard brakes generates, I wonder how long the finish of those CSL wheels would last....
