What's involved in dealer prep?

My car just arrived at the dealership, getting "prepped", which makes me wonder, what's involved? Removing plastic, what else?

Garage List
Remove shipping blocks from suspension, remove protective film from panels, remove plastic from seats, check exterior for shipping damage (including undercarriage; I had a damaged muffler on X5 for eg), check fluids, check battery, turn off transport mode, wash exterior (maybe wax and detail), set tire pressures, road test, check diagnostics after road test, ensure no squeaks/rattles/etc., check overall vehicle functionality (operation of seats, trunk, etc).

Not in that order.

Thanks. Just got an email from my CA:

"I was just notified that the technician noted your M4 currently is throwing a fault in regards to the Lane Departure warning, telling him there is a fault in the passenger mirror and the light does not illuminate on the passenger side. So I think he must have meant a fault in the Blind Spot Detection system. Anyway, the shop foreman will look at it tomorrow and hopefully have a quick diagnosis and fix."

Ugh, so close. Hopefully it is easy to fix

Woo Hoo Jim. Getting close.

Hopefully the fault issue is resolved quickly. My XM functionality issue was related to the RAM install. All it took was a “refresh” signal being sent to the RAM module (signal refresh should have been done during the RAM retrofit).
