Thanks. I started production 7/7 and was in quality check by 7/22 but was there until 9/27, then got on a ship 10/2. Last four of my vin is 5663. No clue if I will actually be affected or not. I guess we'll see when it arrives in Galveston on 10/20.

I really like the car, definitely in that price range there is no better one that is my opinion.

What bothers me is that i already bought several things for the car such as the 1000M, covercraft cover, spacers, etc that I will have to see how to sell them if I decide not to stay with Car.

I even have the license plate ready

Is it just the photos, or are the additional OEM CF parts that much lighter a shade of grey than the typical CF package parts (spoiler, diffuser, etc.)?

It must be the photos, however I have never seen any other than these so I could not tell you with certainty

Finally, on October 25, I received a call from my dealership saying that my car is free from a stop sale and that it was a mistake.

So I immediately went for it and I must say that I am really impressed with this car, i am truly delighted with the handling and performance it has, I love it, period.

I already installed:
- 1000M Wheels and I must say that you hardly feel the extra stiffness. (I had to remove the 12mm and 10mm spacers kit as the Dealership commented that they do not fit together with the 1000M wheels)

- IND-Distribution the Black SapphirePainted Front Reflector

I'll wait for the springs for the Xdrive to go on sale, I know the car would look a lot better, but I wouldn't mind leaving it as it is now.

I have updated the videos, with the car already with the Xpel full front film and a complete ceramic coating.

Car looks great btw… have the rear winglets grown on you? I couldn't help shake what you said about them looking off. And I can't make up my mind. The car looks weird without it and not quite right with it to me now.

I've side skirts and rear wing spoiler added in the build. Front splitter will be installed later. Rear winglets I just don't know.

I know how you feel, Note that I definitely think that without the winglets something would not look right, it would lose a certain line, the only other option would have to be to put a carbon fiber wrap on the rear spoiler below, that's what I considered doing, however I thought that perhaps it would not be easy to get a carbon fiber wrap exactly like the rest of the car.

All the same thoughts at my end. I'm going to get the car delivered without the winglets. I will then look at it for a bit with the part in my hands, and then decide whether to get them installed (or return).

I am getting the wing on the trunk though (now available at port), and looking at more videos and photos I think the wing helps balance the rear with the winglets. Still not perfect, but better. Like in this example:

Congrats on taking delivery! AST springs are compatible with both 2WD and xDrive.
