So as I have gotten older I have switched from colorful exteriors to colorful interiors in cars. My old ones were Interlagos Blue, Imola Red, Sahkir Orange. I love colorful cars but as I entered my 40s I realized they attract too much of the wrong attention (cops, haters...) and I switched to a Donington Grey X3M with sakhir orange (its red) interior.
After two years I am liking the switch, exterior still looks good and the interior (which you see more) looks outstanding and it doesn't attract as much unwanted attention (okay the fact its an SUV helps, but I am sure Toronto Red would be different).

So looking at the new interior M3 options (either getting M3 or M4 convertible), I really like the idea of Fjord Blue (considering the Red as well but think its too bright, I like the darker red leathers). What exterior would you guys pick to go with the Blue leather? Black, White (not a fan of non metallic white), Skyscraper Grey, Brooklyn Grey?

I guessed this to be the case, but I so desperately don't want this to be true since my M4 is going to be loud in every sense of the word (interior, exterior and noise). I wanted... no, needed... to switch it up after two back to back Carbon Black Metallic cars with white interiors.

In my quests to find out what it looked like in real life (the shade), I chanced upon this:

The color seemed much lighter in real life and wasn't what I was expecting so I just dropped it. Is that blue (in that video) what you're expecting or did you happen to have seen more proper M-car examples in your research?

I'm not 100% settled, but it is my top choice for now. The German build tool pets you pick it as an option, for visualization purposes.

I would love to do Blue on Blue, my old Imola Red was an M Roadster with two tone red/black interior to match, seems like those days are gone (matching interior colors).

When matching leather with exterior they either need to really match (same name, manufacturer meant for them to be together...) or have a good contrast otherwise it can look really bad so I am avoiding blue on blue.

The US site lets you build the Convertible with Fjord blue as well, including carbon bucket seats.

Here's fjord blue in reality. I would pair it with either white or black exterior personally. The car in the pic is Frozen Brilliant White

Fjord blue was my second choice with Skyscraper Grey. Ultimately, I went with Yas Marina Blue.
Like yourself, my last car was bright on the outside, but Cognac on the inside
This time, understated on the out side, aside from the swollen hips and the obviously aggressive stance, and bold on the inside.
