We have just wrapped ours and of course thats the cleanest finish. When our car was purple we looked into getting them sprayed but the wrap ended up getting pulled forward.

The hardest thing is getting the same finish as the skirt is plastic.

Do you have the PNs? I have been trying to find a spare set to paint as well.

I actually like this. Glossy black plastic is terrible and shouldn't be on the exterior of this vehicle. If they didn't bother to make them CF like the competitors do then they should have just painted them.

I was thinking of adding the lower flat carbon side skirts but think the carbon plus the gloss might be a bit much.

Anyone paint matched the gloss on Dravit or other dark cars?

Probably not noticeable in picture but would be in person

I am curious about this as well. G80 in transit at the moment but wanted to paint match the gloss asap with ppf.

I have never preferred the look of OEM black trim painted body color. On any car. Ever. Until now.

This looks great. Would love to see it on a Brooklyn Gray M3.

One of the M4 guys did it on his BG G82. Can't remember what thread that was in though. He wrapped them. He apparently had issues matching the color to the factory painted bumpers/doors, but even then it looked so much better than gloss black.

Colour extended

Recently done our G80 and the lower section colour follow through I think is essential. Really shows the body lines off and I think it almost gives you a hot wheels look to the car (which I love xD).

Hellyeah. Looks similar to the SLINE Audi I sold recently. BMW needs to step up. Side Blades....

This car should come with color-matched lowers from the factory..or at least make it an option. It looks so much better and M-esque with the color matching, especially with the black blade.

I am thinking about getting a set painted AR then having the blades black gloss wrapped. Your right. BMW needs to step it up and offer a painted option.

The painted lower body parts are definitely looking so much better. I feel too many black parts on a light car make the car slightly tacky.

Just curious, how much are people paying on average in US to get the lower body parts painted?
