Any idea how to fix this?
Looks like when I got my bumper replaced the paint shop dripped some sort of solvent on my front fender. It does not buff out, it for sure has eaten through the clear coat. They 100% took ownership of it and are fixing it for free. Any idea what they’ll have to do? I’m really hoping not a full respray… I don’t want to chance it winds up being a slightly different shade as the rest of the car. I got very lucky and they nailed the bumper color first try.

Looks like it’ll have to be a full re-spray. What’s the alternative… sand, repaint and blend?

A glass half full way of looking at it is that you'll get a fresh clear coat. You've got all sorts of microscratches in the photo you've shared.
