New 2024 M4 Competition Xdrive Owner

Just want to say hello and introduce myself to this great community, first time BMW owner here (Came from Lexus and my most recent acura ILX hahaha) so this has been a wonderful and different experience so far in these 2 weeks ive owned it . All ive done is tint the car(ceramic 50% front shield and 20% all around) and currently have the car in the shop getting the PPF film(xpel) put on clear gloss. There's so much i want to do to the car i don't even know where to begin with this beautiful beast. My first question was recommendations on cold air intake, pipes and suspension because i want to give it a lower aggressive look. Thanks again everyone

Congratulations, your car looks great. I got my G80 a little under 2 months ago and it is a great time every time I drive it. Ever since I got my break in service done I’ve been having a blast.

Congratulations and welcome to the community!

The hood does not seem properly closed in the first photo - there’s a much larger panel gap on the left than on the right between the hood and the bumper.

I was going to guess bad panel alignment but it looks much tighter in the third picture (as expected).

Open the hood and let it smack down equally on both sides from about 2-3 feet.

Welcome to the community!!!

For the cold air intake. I am putting the Dinan one in. I think the design is beautiful. Comes in Gloss or Matte carbon fiber. There are others out there but I like the integration with the engine bay with this one. Good luck and have fun!

Welcome, great car, hope you enjoy it. We know from experience. Haha. Got my 2024 G80 M3 a couple weeks ago and still not bored of it so that's a good sign for me. Haha.

Oh. Forgot to mention for a better sound you mentioned pipes. Again, lots out there but I personally am going with MAD non resonated mid pipe and an SST valve controller to keep the valves 100 percent open when desired.

Will do brother!

I was watching kies motorsports on YouTube he had stocks with the Dahler valve control wow sounds beautiful man. Yeah I was between xpipes with removed resonators or Midpipe but was told Midpipe would sound better. Is the Dahler valve the sst valve you're talking about?

Isn't the break in service at 2000 km's or something? I have had my car for weeks and I am only still sitting at 500'ish km's so no break in service for another 1500 km's for me. How much are you guys driving? Haha.

I guess it doesn't help I was away for 10 days on vacation after getting it and now the car's been sitting at a wrap shop for 5 days getting full colour change so there's hardly been time to put km's on it. And with our winters right around the corner with -30 weather and snow, not sure how much I will drive it (though I have a set of OEM winter tires/wheels from my M850 that I plan to put on the M3 if I can).

I have 1800 miles in it so far haha. I believe mines was 1200 they said to bring it in I just did it over a week ago almost 2 weeks ago. They had told me to keep the car in normal no m2 mode nothing until I broke it in. Thing is a beast man I can't say it enough haha 🙂

Just an FYI, you can customize M1 and M2, you can make M1 more aggressive than M2 and vice versa, M2 doesn't have to be the more aggressive one.
