If there was a car in the market that can compete maybe, but nothing.

Plus I've been waiting for a long time and I refuse to let BMW win even if it bankrupts me

Yea no doubt, however you can get an LCI M5 comp for around $10k more, so that's my current dilemma with it. At around an 80-82k sticker price it wouldn't even be a debate, however with my build above 90 grand it's difficult

How lucky are you guys at those prices. We are a big M market here in the UK and pay approx 20% more

For example my M4 Comp Xdrive was $94,000 and that was after a 10% discount
I'm so tired of the my taxes are higher so you shouldn't complain argument. Spare me

Your taxes are less than Australia or some other place, so does that mean you can't complain? See how ridiculous that is?

I could remove a few options and be under 90, but I'm spending so much money I'd hate to have regrets down the road. I keep my cars for a while.

I'm at $92,600 currently and I'm not happy about it, but it's a $30-$50 difference a month. It sucks but I can't do anything about it.

The only entity benefitting is BMW and Uncle Sam for collecting a higher tax for a car that is worth ~$80k.

So I've never placed an order for a brand new car before but can the dealer markup your order?

So far I've seen
G80
G20
G70

All updated.

I'm personally still waiting on the G07 to be updated since I've got a deposit down for the LCI on that.

Just for shits and giggles, I had some fun on the configurator:

Yes, they can. Dealers are independent entities and you have to negotiate the price before placing your order.

That does 60 in 3.1 sec and can turn into a rwd drift machine at the touch of a button.

You can. For just the 2023 model year, by ordering an M4 instead.

Ehhh but I have a little one and I honestly don't want to fight with a carseat lmfao that's the problem especially if I plan on having another 1 to make it 2 kids 😂.

Such is inflation

E46 ~52k
E90 ~70k
F80 ~80k
G80 ~90k

But to be fair, the 100k M3 has been with us for almost 10 years.

But make sure your kid doesn't ride his bicycle into your car and damage the front grill.

I've a <1 year old and a 2022 M4 (and an X5, he mostly rides in right now). Not concerned about him riding in the M4 soon. It is very spacious at the back - much better than I expected. My friend made a 911 work with his kid; now 2 kids.

Go for the car you really want. As a former kid, lol, I imagine having a ton of fun cosseted securely in the back of an M4 as a kid.

You making me cry man because an M3/M4 is definitely the car of my dreams (closer dreams that is lmao) but I feel you I just didn't feel like bothering with a car seat is all in a cramped up space lol 😂 but honestly we gotta do what we gotta do.

I don't think it looks good, but I agree that it needs to be on the car in some form to differentiate it from the rear-wheel drive version.
