50th anniversary emblems on 2024
Hi Folks
I have a 2024 M3C coming in sometime end of year (on the ship), is it still possible to get the 50th anniversary emblems on the front and back? My BMW of Seattle says no and it kinda bums me out. I do want official but not sure if that fits the 2024? Thanks! |

You can buy them after the fact. I believe the only true anniversary editions were in 22 as the first M was a 1972. I have seen them from BMW even on 23s. Perhaps because some were built in 22 for the 23 MY? Your CA is right, you cant get them for a 24 build direct from the factory.
Bimmer Plug has very high quality replicas or you can buy them direct from BMW for a 22. Its obviously your car to do what you want but not sure I would want to badge a 24 as a 22. There are also multiple alternatives including all black, CF, reverse anniversary color badges etc. Good luck with your new car! |

The badges were standard (comp models) or no-cost options (non-comp models) on MY23 M-cars. I don't think that they're available from the factory on any MY24s.
I know that this is not what you're asking, but although I generally like small unique design elements like this, I never really took a liking to the 50 Jahre M-badges. I just don't like the aestetic. When I ordered my MY23 M8C, I actually chose the no-cost "standard badge" option. I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority though.

i have the motorsports badges for my hood, trunk, and wheels on my 2018 and 2024 cars. i got them because of what the badges mean to me, personally.
i got all the parts necessary for my 2018 from PaddleShifterz and Bimmer Plug. for my 2024, i actually made the badges part of the car purchase agreement. if you ask your dealer to do it, they will. and yes, i got the floating wheel caps for both cars. these car forums sure do a great job at enthusiasm squashing. i hope your badge quest is successful. the motorsports logos make me smile EVERY TIME I SEE MY CARS. |

You're almost 2 years past the 50th anniversary now. At this point you would be posing a bit but go for it.

Why would anyone be butthurt for bringing up that the 50th Anniversary was in 22? Its his car to do as he wants but there are some who are just reminding the OP that the reason he cant order them from BMW on his build is because its no longer the 50th Anniversary.
BMW watered-down the 50th anniversary just like they do with the M badging on non M cars. IMO the only cars that should have the 50th badge from the factory would real 22 M cars. If the OP decides to replace the factory badges because he likes the 50th anniversary badges there is no butthurt here. |

When you kept the anniversary badges you could take advantage of (most) individual colors for $3750 instead of $4500.

Did this on my winter wheelset and now I like them better than standard; adds a little pop and a bit of uniqueness. This thread has me thinking of doing the front/rear badges.

If you like the 50 year logos get them.
My assumption on the 22/23 cars is the fact BMW M was founded in May of 1972. So BMW allowed the badges through April of 2023 which was the end of the 50th year. My car was delivered March of 23 with them. |

I ordered a G80 M3CX in the UK at the end of September and there was no option to spec the standard badges (I checked because I was unsure whether I wanted the anniversary badges or not), so I can only assume the non-standard badges are no longer added to cars ordered now

I believe the last chance was either December allocations (for January production) or January allocations (for February production). |
