After a lot of back and forth what summer wheels to get, I finally pulled the trigger for the 1000M wheels in gold

So she will get a nice present for the soon 1 year anniversary in March (already )

Congrats! Are tires readily available in that profile? I got the impression they were even rarer than the standard G8X sizes..

They already come with tires from factory, at least if you order over your dealer. But I checked, and my favorites (Michelin PS4S) are available in that sizes: Front: 285/30/20 & Rear 295/25/21

Awesome, can't wait for some more photos of these wheels.

I'd love to get a set but I've held off due to cost and I'm not sure if I want to move to a 20/21" wheel setup.

Perhaps as I get closer to needing a new set of tires I'll finally take the plunge.

It's fairly new, but growing. He also listed his M5CS on the same site and it sold for $172k.

Yeah, for me it was really a lot of thinking to just go with other wheels and 20/20, but I kept always coming back to those wheels, they just catched me and I personally think that kind of style matches the best with the car...I also love the stock 826m wheels, they are my winter wheels now.

And with IOMG I think it gonna look sick...and my car is lowered on full KW V4 suspension...can't wait to see it with them. Will definitely post some pics once they are fitted, but probably in March, still winter conditions here (still need to post a car thread of her )

This is Doug DeMuro's site. Been around a year or two. I agree BaT would typically bring more.

BaT has almost got too big. Bidding gets out of control for some stuff. Crazy prices

I saw BaT is now doing more than Mecum and Sotherby's etc. they are the biggest globally in terms of $ sales

My reserve was set at 80k

Lowered my car on MSS. I did the install myself. For those that said you can't do the rear without a lift is not true. I did all four corners on jack stands. Only thing you need is a little muscle and a breaker bar to loosen the bolts, I used a 24 inch breaker bar for leverage.

Only thing I wish is the front would be lower. There is an update in the works for MSS, looking forward to it.

I'm not happy either with the front height. I may do something about it when the weather improves

Mine settled a little bit but when it's on full low it should be a lot lower. Nobody buys the adjustability to make the car higher!

Who's charging you $400? I've been told by the vendor it's free and I bought the kit on that basis. Once it becomes available it's free for all who have bought the kit already. I would report it to MSS directly if you're being charged for it.

I would double check that it's 'free'. That's not what I've been told.

I don't want to put anyone on blast but evolve quoted me $460 shipped to the USA.

If I can get it for free from MSS I would be delighted

My guess is they are probably trying to recover their shipping cost since they are in the UK or somewhere in Europe. The local vendors that I have talked to and even bought my kit from are shipping it at no charge.
