Car Camera Recommendations To Watch Wheels - 2022 M4 Comp
Someone who lives in my building or works in my parking garage keeps puncturing my back right tire. I have had to get it replaced 3 times in the past month. Does anyone have any camera recommendations that I can put on the inside rear window of my 2022 M4 Comp to monitor that tire and catch the person who keeps doing this? thanks

That sucks! I know how you feel. I've had my wheels stolen off my driveway. This was before a camera and double wheel locks. Now i have both and why double wheel locks? Well, that'll give me enough time to go say hi to them with a g17.
Check blackvue. They have a parking mode where you'll have to hardwire it but can set how long you want it to record for after the car is turned off. I was thinking of this setup myself when i'm out and about. |

Dashcam and radar detector thread:
https://g80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1887766 When you say they're puncturing your back right tire, they're physically slashing the sidewall? I'd think the damage is pretty bad if you need to replace the tire.

Hard to leave CA. Still so much to offer even if it has gone downhill as of late. |

Dashcam + battery backup + stickers to stick on glass to indicate it's always recording.

Just order a simple game camera and set it in the back window of your car.
https://www.amazon.com/Optics-Game-C...8&node=3413551 A typical rearview mounted camera may not capture something at the rear corner, plus the cost of getting something installed, having your interior torn down, etc to solve a very specific temporary problem wouldn't make sense to me. If you want one for other reasons then go for the full install. With the game camera you can buy it this afternoon and have it ready to go immediately. |

Get a garmin mini USB dash cam. Stick it near the tire in one of the back windows and run it all night long off a usb power block. Quickest, cheapest way to get this done.

I would buy a Ring camera and hide it somewhere in the garage. If you cant get wifi to it I would get a mobile hot spot. This way you have view of your car at all times and it records anytime it senses movement around the car. You can set the proximity so that it only records around the car and alerts you.

If you don't have easy access to power the Wyze battery-powered wireless cameras are a good solution. The range from the camera to the base station is reasonable but nothing special. Low light capability is ok. However, with a MicroSD card installed in the camera, you can use the offline mode to record video anywhere. As mentioned I'd place them in the garage looking at the car. For $60 it's worth a shot. https://wyze.com/wyze-cam-outdoor.html
