Normal tire pressure with a low tire pressure warning
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Picked up the car from break in service Gave it one hard pull. After said low tire pressure, keep driving and check at your convenience. All pressures are good with green lights. What gives? |

Go to tire pressure settings Set it to below 100 mph. It will disappear

Mine has been giving me the same message in the morning. Thought I had run over a nail or something (construction in the neighborhood). I ended up just resetting the tire pressure gauges in that setting where your pic is. Hasn't turned on since.

The F82 and F90 (my G80 is due in September) sensor doesn't like too large a difference in pressures across axels. I would suggest that your front left tyre is the one

Your tire pressure is probably low for the measured tire temperature. And also may additionally be considered low if you've set in iDrive that you intend to drive over 100 mph.
When you're tires are cool (like 12 hours of no driving and early in the morning), check and set the pressures correctly. Reset the tire pressure monitor and drive around for a bit. It may help to double check the speed setting for the tires in iDrive as someone else mentioned before the reset.
