According to Genius, their tracker is showing red calipers and they don't understand why mine is showing blue, but they will forward the info to the necessary department to fix it. In regards to the "special identification 2", they don't have a definition for it in their guide and they advised to call our respective sales associate/dealership

Well, the site is down now, so maybe they're actually fixing it.

Check what color your calipers are in the text description in Standard Features. See mine for example.

Also, I don't have 'Special Identification 2' but I'm waiting in port state-side. If you got that designation before production starts, something's likely changed.

M4cx on order. Thought the car would have been completed by week 45, but here we are at week 46. Been in Quality Check since last Monday.

I'm still at production begins. Genius said my build would be completed by 11/19. I'm hoping I'll run through the next few stages quickly as I've seen from others.

This is worrying, mine still says it even though they fixed the caliper color. Does this mean they removed or changed something else? Not knowing is driving me nuts

No you can't. Once it's status 150 (production begins), it's too late to make any changes

I noticed that if you inspect the network traffic on your mygarage page, the call to https://mygarage.bmwusa.com/bin/api/forward shows a prod date in the JSON. I wonder if that's the date the car is scheduled to be finished. Mine is currently showing "prodDate": "2021-11-22" and it was previously 2021-11-23

Neat trick.. I should of checked that (I'm a software engineer) ...

Use Chrome -- right click and do 'Inspect Element' -- goto 'Network' tab and in the top left there is a field to search the word "forward".

Then you need to click the line item that shows in that search to see information on the right.

Without a lot of pictures I'm not sure you'll figure it out but I'm trying lol

hahaha. I toyed around with it and found it. Mine is showing 11/24 which is the completion date told to me by Genius.

My caliper color changed to blue in the pictures too recently. It was red for the longest while in the phot.
I ordered red. In the text description, it does indicate red though. I will be pissed if it shows up with blue calipers.
I do have an individual color though. Maybe this has something to do with it?
Perhaps I should call/ inquire with the genius/ CA.

Literally RIGHT AFTER I typed this, I went back to the my bmw garage site and it's back to red now. It was on blue calipers for > 1 week! Lol. Well, if it isn't broken….

From my CA:

There was not an official release of what the option code is, but from what we have researched it is an ECU software update for the vehicle. No options have been deleted from the order at this time and our General Sales Manager is waiting for a reply from our BMW rep on a more official answer. When we know we can update you on the specifics.
