Enzian Blue M3 & M4 side-by-side!
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com I'd never see a second Enzian Blue car in real life before this (ever), and I only first learnt of the color because of snareman's OG May 2021 Enzian Blue G82. So something like this happening in the world has a vanishingly small probability - enjoy the pics! Notes: - The first photo shows the very subtle difference in shade from having PPF (M4) vs not (M3). The M3's currently getting PPF installed (full body). We'd timed this meet up to see what the difference could be prior to the M3 going in for PPF. - The M4's at 12,000 miles and the M3 is at 50 miles in these photos. - We realized we weren't parking like BMW drivers should in the first photo and made up for it in the others. Details / Other Posts on the Cars 2023 BMW M3 Competition M xDrive - BMWEnthuTony - Featured post 1: Enzian Blue G80 M3Comp - After some wait it is here.. Your cars are amazing and the color is 🔥!I’m in the Seattle area and expecting delivery of my M4 in September. If you don’t mind me asking, where did you get your PPF and are you happy with it?

This is one of the nicest blue's I've ever seen. It's like a Smurf & Superman combo.

IMO it's crazy how much better the M3 looks than the M4.
It's such a shame they don't put the wide hips on the M4 - needs to be more aggressive. Right now i think it looks just like a Mustang and the W205 C63s looks soo much better/meaner. |

Both cars have been or are being PPFed by Metropolitan Detail. Great reputation but prices are on the higher side due to that.

This coupled with the doors, especially rear doors, being exactly the same on the M3 and the 3 series, caused the rear arches to abruptly crease and push out in the M3. It's part of the reason why there's PPF from the factory in front of the arch. Similar story about the rear taillights - smaller and closer together on the 3 - causing wheels to stick out more on the M3. This wasn't needed on the M4 because (a) no rear doors, (b) the base coupe was already nearly *yay* wide. So, the transition is smoother and far less obvious in the M4. They could have made it tauter between the door and the rear wheel arches for a more defined full-side profile, but it may have made other perfectly good angles look weird instead (angled front view, angled rear view, possibly full rear view). And I'm not entirely convinced that even the full-side profile would actually look good, because the bump out is already obvious in other angles.

It looks amazing. Is it a non metallic color? Hard to see on the pictures.

Thanks kjx for starting this thread and sharing the pics. Some these pics are awesome. The pics I took were subsumed by yours 😁. We should do this again with both having PPF now and mine having the front lip as well making it identical twins minus the rear wings 😊. |

Thank you for this. What a great color! And, this is a really nice comparison. For me, it is the m3. It looks so much more robust to my eyes, and I like the proportions more. |

I think the w205 C63s is the best-looking "non-pure sports car setup" couple. It just looks soo MEAN and menacing. The M2 looks better than the M4 IMO. I liked the F82 - i just don't think the G82 looks good. |

I love my Misano Blue Z4 but IMHO Enzian Blue takes it one step further and is amazing!

That’s a great color as well. Looks good with that light interior.
