I love this color. After a wash, coating of G-Techniq Easy Coat, and fire dressing.

Looks really good!

I see you lost out on the tire lottery like me lol.

Do you plan to do any exterior mods? GT grill/CSL, etc?

Enjoy!

Tire lottery is bs, this is my 2nd with P Zeros and I have no issues with them. Plenty of traction for street driving, and they seem to last as well.

As for mods, I was thinking about a different grille, but I’m not sure what. Can’t really think of anything else I’d do. Maybe CS tune.

The P Zeros are fine, but having thousands of miles with both I can certainly tell where they differ. The PS4S is quieter and more comfortable, while not being so sensitive to temperature changes. I’ve also noticed due to the sipes and tread pattern, the P Zeros bring in a lot more debris into the garage.

Agreed. Had PS4’s on my BG M4 and PZeros on my current DG and I’m unable to see any downsides to the PZero.

Ahh. I’m not driving my current car like I did the old one so I haven’t picked up on these differences, but thanks for pointing them out.

Golf, Cars, Boats and watches. My vices.....

Let me ask as you have experienced both. I am 6 months from my 3 year turn cycle.

Beyond the LCI changes inside and iDrive 8.5, do you feel the car is the same performance/handling wise? Including the LCI changes, what do you miss from your 2022 and what do you think they really improved on?

It’s ok. Compared to how much you spend at the BMW dealer, I am sure it is minimal.

At this point I still think iD7 is better, but I have to give iD8.5 time as I haven’t learned enough about what it’s capable of.

Handling and performance wise, this car has MP HAS so the handling is sharper without being harsh, I don’t think the 20hp bump is noticeable, however, the transmission mapping is different, very clunky if you don’t shift properly. Not sure if that’s something that’ll change, I haven’t had the break-in service performed yet, so I haven’t really gotten on it at all.

I love the laser tails, and to be honest, I like the LCI headlights too, gives the front an aggressive look (and I’m not a very sentimental person, especially over the heritage stuff that they seem to remove with every generation).

All in all, I don’t miss the 2022, and im very happy with my decision to update.

Having experienced a 2025 compared to my 2024, my opinion is the differences are pretty much limited to deletion of laser lights and the switch to idrive 8 or 8.5. Some people noticed some small decontenting, but that stuff isn’t going to stop you from buying the car. Also, I wanted laser lights so that’s why I ordered a 2024. The 2025 lights are fine, but I just love the lasers. On idrive 8/8.5, i am divided. I thought idrive 7 was perfection with its perfect balance of nice touchscreen and usable buttons. I have gotten used to idrive 8 and the lack of buttons, but I still prefer the idrive 7 in my wife’s x3 M40.

You are spot on. The 20 hp bump….it is literally 100% unnoticeable. I suspect this is because the engine dyno numbers suggest this engine is putting out well above 520 hp before the official bump was announced. My 1 year with my 2024 is in 2 weeks and I can tell you that, no matter how much you get used to idrive 8/8.5, idrive 7 is still the best.
