From the pre-fight dialogue, whole altercation seems to have started from the victims approaching the thugs to sell them, what I'd assume is weed. Doesn't mean they deserved a beating but found it interesting that it seemed to have been triggered from asking the thugs if they wanted to "buy".

You and I both. I have my cute little S&W .380 always on me. It may not be large caliber but its just enough with hollow points, and 1 in the chamber.

Without risking being politically incorrect, it always seems that these "thugs" NEVER start an altercation unless the odds are greatly in their favor. It's been this way since before I was born and will continue after I cease to be. Growing up a white kid as a minority, I've seen this firsthand more times than I'd like to admit. Then lets say that if the white guy wins,,,,,, he's labeled a racist.
