So is it confirmed that this wheel is larger/thicker than the OEM wheel? If so, think I might put this on my list for the next mod to do.

Part of me thinks that as well but I use that function maybe 5-10 days a year at most here in Phoenix so I'm sure I could just as easily live without it.

Ill probably keep the center spokes carbon. But I like the carbon top and alcantara sides. And the way my wheel is adjusted, it would be easier to get in and out if I had a flat bottom wheel.

I want to love this G80 steering wheel but man do I miss the F80 MPerformance one with LED shift lights.. It was noticeably thicker than OEM and the alcantara held up great over years.

I am having them re-wrap the m-perf wheel in full alcantara with an orange stripe at 12 o'clock. Going to be spicy. |

I placed the order after I watched Joe Achille's review of his g80. In his videos you can see he has a KO interior with a full alcantara wheel w/ orange stripe. Is the m5 cs wheel a direct bold on? |

I haven’t seen a number. I gave it the old German torque when I did mine (removed and installed a few different times). A good tightening with a deep well socket and 1/2” drive ratchet.
