Yep. I already decided that I am not getting one. For the first time in about 25 years I will be without a M3/M4 of each generation.

I don't think I'll sell my F82 for this. Outside of the updated interior and higher performance, the exterior appears to be VERY underwhelming.

I can't believe I'm saying this but the RS5 Coupe looks sportier and less plump. The grille looks like someone backed into it and BMW forgot to fix it.

I vividly remember launch photos of the 4 series thinking damn, that looks good. And when the F82 M4 came out it was overwhelmingly positive. I loved it (although I hated the exhaust, and still do.. lol) it was/is a gorgeous car. Sure it had the occasional labia comment regarding its outer intakes, but overall very positive for a new model release.

But I digress.. What have you done BMW?

Mules pics shows vertical grill and it's nicely divided by the bumper for (license plate ). However the leaked pics of the bumper show horizontal grill and not divided?!!

The way leak pics are presented gives an impression that BMW wants to surprise us ? Or distract us with those ugly grills? I hope so. But mules pics looks reasonable!

Can someone explain what's going on ?

I think the new M4 will look better than the RS5. The floating (no surround) grille will probably make it all work. We'll find out pretty soon.

Like all BMW I think they look better in person, they are hard to photograph, except the E28 and E36. The rest do not come very well in photos. Will reserve judgement till the real deal, however it may have some serious potential.

That's so true, I had an e36 and it would get at least 300-1000 likes a pic and it was just so easy to get a good angle and a great pic.

The m2 on the other hand.. I'm lucky to get 80 likes and I'm hardly ever inspired by the pictures I can get of it.

Maybe the differentiating factor between the M3 (vertical) and M4 (horizontal).
