Awesome cars! I just sold my e46 m3 recently and I had a 335i sold that and got a 2020 540i as I needed a better daily and a truck. Beautiful cars

Unfortunately, no, it is an SMG. I'm disabled (paraplegic), so a manual is not an option for me... But having driven it for the past few months, I have no issues with the SMG. I think it gets way more hate than it deserves. If you lift a little when it is about to shift, it's super smooth.

Agreed 💯 I mean, I love driving my G82, but look at the two of them together... I love driving and staring at the M3.

I agree with all that you wrote. The M3 is plenty quick even 20 years later. Plenty of passing power on two lane roads. It's not instantaneous power like in the M4, but it's fun to wind that S54 out!

Almost a year ago, the M4 came in and I thought I was good to go. Until I found myself looking at E46 M3s all winter... Cue midlife crisis. I just turned 46 and always wanted an E46 M3 (so the number matched!). I ran across this one on Autotrader one Friday night in March and the rest is history. YOLO, man. I'm good now, though... Haha

Very nice stable! From the garage itself to the fine machines it houses!
Continue to enjoy them all.

I really miss my F32 440 sometimes. I had the MPPSK on it as well that thing was a real talker.

Just like man others have stated, I'm confident the E46 will age better than most car could ever imagine. Now we just need to figure out how to shoehorn all the G80 guts into one. Especially the S58...

Nice stable!!! Wow...the E46 looks even better next to the newer ones. It would be soooo hard for me not to daily drive it.

When I had my E90 M3 I wanted “S65B40” plates, but never got around to it.

The E46 is what got me into BMW and M cars. It is such a timeless design and will always be what I think of when I hear BMW. I love my G80 (yes grille and all!) but this design will never hold a candle to the E46 design, IMHO. Great stable of cars, OP!

Thanks and I'm with you 100%. I still remember standing in the grocery store, flipping through the car mags when the E46 M3 was brand new and on the cover of them all (in Phoenix Yellow). I love my G82 (don't love, don't hate the grills), but the M3 is the car I look back at more. The fender flares, the big mouth, the proper kidneys...
