John, is it just me or my phone image, but does your lighting cause the brushed titanium to have a gold hue?

It's a warm grey tone and, depending on the light, can skew a little gold-ish (though I would hesitate to call it gold). The warmth really comes through in certain lighting and up close (and those photos are quite close).

Here's a set on a car - both close up and further away, and you can see how the color kind of 'cools off' as you get further from it.

Overall, it's one of my favorite finishes given how dynamic and unique it is.

Thanks for showcasing those in the sun! I can see the warmth of them up close, but that second picture in the sun definitely shows how bright they can be. I can appreciate them more so.

Wasn’t planning to drop this one today… but after seeing the final result, how could I not? These came out absolutely sensational. Honestly struggling to think of a better-looking wheel for the G8x. It’s not a design you see every day — and it will really make any build pop.

Apologies for the weird timing on this post but likely going to be posting at weird times for a couple weeks while I am 13 hours ahead of my normal EDT.

Another interesting finish executed to perfection, I had done this once before and it came out beautifully so a few others have wanted to jump in and get this for themselves (note this could be done in any brushed color so you could do this with brushed celestial, brushed gunmetal, etc. for a truly 1 of 1 aesthetic.

(please excuse a few fingerprints on the polish – you can see it better in the video. These are, after all, touched by humans so fingerprints in these pictures are always present - though it’s more obvious on polished)

It’s RWD only given the xdrive tire diameter requirements.

That said there is an xdrive compatible setup that would be a 18” front and 19” rear and 305/325 tires that would work. The 305 front requires a little camber finesse to fit well though. You can also do a 275/325 setup that would work with multiple diameters.

The default setup (and I mean default because it’s like 99% of setups for xdrive) is 285/295 but there’s more that’s possible if you’re looking to push the boundaries a bit.
