We do apologize for sending a defective item. All of our parts are made by hand so sometimes there are pieces that should not have passed QC. However, we never said you had to pay for anything. We were going to swap the trunk spoiler for free but there was a wait for more. We even offered to switch to another style but you said it was too much of a hassle.

I have attached a screenshot of the text messages you had with Malakai.

Malakai - You told me, prior to ordering that every part is inspected in your CA location prior to shipping. Obviously that was a lie, just like your new explanation about it being handmade being the reason that it looks terrible.

Now, to be clear, what you have offered me is also unprofessional although you think helpful somehow. The offer is for me to take my car back to the PPF shop to pay him to uninstall. Spending at least a day of my time doing so. Then I need to pay to ship the POS back to you. Then I need to wait 2 weeks turn around minimum but likely way more since nothing you have advertised online is actually in stock. Then I have to pray you actually send a quality part and either reinstall myself of pay to have done.

What you should have done, since you are the screwup that provided the bad experience is send me a new piece and let me then send the POS back with a prepaid return label.

RW Carbon is a mickey mouse reseller of Chinese Garbage and I will advise anyone to stay away.

And no, its not worth the money to deal with you, but I would like to save others from the BS you provided.

Every piece is quality checked before we ship it. However, we did make a mistake and did not see the defect. We quality check the parts inside a warehouse and sometimes defects can only been seen in sunlight. This is one of those times, since we requested a photo in the sunlight to see the issue and your PPF installer did not see the defect either.

It is not the first time we accidently sent an item that had an issue but we always make it right and replace the item free of charge. I understand this can be a inconvenience and we do apologize.

You would not be paying for shipping. We always provide a pre-paid return label. We try our best to keep all of our parts in stock but we do have thousands of items to it is inevitable that parts run out before we can replenish our stock levels.

If you ever want to revisit us replacing the spoiler for you please feel free to reach out on here and I can help you out with that.

Everyone can make their own choice based on your response. RW stands so little behind their product that even after publicly displaying my text message and admitting the part was not to standard they would rather have the customer without a spoiler, for months on end, than to step up and actually provide customer service. We are talking about a part you sold me retail for $380. You are PETTY and should be sending me a replacement part to avoid me further aggravation, time, money, car with no spoiler ect. Not interested in the complexities of your return policy.

EDIT: Since you have wasted my time and money I will choice to be petty and share my honest experience (corroborated by you) for others to make an informed choice. Even if you sent me a new spoiler, at this point, I would not delete my posts.

As we mentioned, the trunk spoiler is not in stock so it is not possible for us to do an exchange right now. However, if you would like I can reach out when we have more in stock and we can handle the exchange then. I'm showing an ETA of about 4 weeks.

That thing looks like a 4X 4. Definitely needs a bit of a drop. Bagged is a bitch much. Still kinda crazy that an M car would come from the factory, with that stance

Less than 5” of ground clearance = 4x4. Sure.

The obsession with the arches sitting on the wheels is a bit much IMO. But different strokes.

Without a proper suspension setup, lowering it only compromises handling in many cases.

For a sport car, 5" is way to much, so yes, it looks like a 4X4. Stance is everything, but not slam either.

I know everyone’s online purchasing experience can be different so I can only tell you about mine with RW Carbon. I purchased the items listed below from RW on 03/14/24. They sent me an email the same day and told me the side skirts were in stock and other items would be approximately 6 weeks. They asked if I want the side skirts to ship immediately or wait and have the order shipped all together. I had them ship the side skirts immediately and ship the back order once they became available. They ship them the next day. When shipment arrived, they were very well packed and in excellent condition. On 05/01 they sent me an email informing me that the back-order items were in, and they would be shipped the same day. Again, they were very well packed and in excellent condition. I have since installed all the items on MY24 M3 and could not be happier with the fitment and quality of each piece. From my experience with RW I can say they were upfront with the order status and kept me informed about my order. Now that all the pieces have been installed the quality of each of the carbon fiber pieces and their fitment is excellent.

Dude it’s a $380 retail spoiler. Is this company so hard up for cash that they can’t float me another spoiler and let me send the bad one back after? What smart guys.

They admitted on this thread that they sent me a subpar part and they have confirmed their horrible customer service. I now feel like I got full value if my $380 dollars and can throw this away lol and this will be my final reply concerning this matter.

Im not talking about that, agreed all these sellers are the same, money money, I think Mike is the only one that cares.
But I was talking that it needed to be check before installing, otherwise you spent time and money.
