I really like the 827M! I wish I could mount them on my G80 (and they are cheap compared to some aftermarket wheels here in Europe) but the ET doesn't come flush with the fender: I would have to mount some spacers and I don't want that

Love the look | Quality is good | Wheels are 23/24lbs so rather light

I went back to 19/20 - I'm going to stick with this look for a while

I am running a 15/12mm spacer with this setup

I’d be careful with reps - cutting so many holes in the spokes - without proper engineering id suspect it can really impact the rigidity/integrity of the wheel.

BBS has mastered this design!

They have done some kind of stress calculation. And they are still 1,2kg heavier than the original so guess they’ve cut less into it.


And I’m not really that scared of it. Here people only drive cast replicas of all kind of wheels so a forged replica won’t have me worried at all. Not gonna track my car at all.

PS: If you don’t see me post again it’s because one of the wheels gave up. 😅

RID is not 20” square its 20” staggered. For the FI-R the official fitment from BBS is 19/20. I’ve been inquiring about getting a square setup using 4 rears but you can’t because the stock doesn’t exist, afaik YasPlz_CSL got the last set in the US and there is not expected to be enough stock on 20s to do a square setup until the end of the year.

I was in the same boat. 20" Staggered would be epic in the FIR EVO
But the 19/20 feel proper considering that's the way the car was designed. F17lbs | R19lbs | Car rides perfectly!!!

since you've owned both im curious what your thoughts are specifically on the finish of the wheels - how do you feel the platinum compares with diamond silver?

Diamond Silver is brighter overall.

Platinum gloss has more a gunmetal finish.

What are the specs (width/offset)? I'm hoping no wheel spacers were necessary to have it sit like you have on the CSL.

the standard fitment is relatively conservative, +5mm from OEM. spacers are needed to get that aggressive look.

Thanks for the specs! Did BBS not size them bespoke to the G82 or did you just want more poke? I personally have a certain disdain for spacers.

P.S. I ran the black FI-Rs on my F82 CS (big fan of its lightweight/stiff 6061-T6 engineering)
