the ZF is a downgrade from a DCT.
There is an noticeable lag when manually shifting & you don't feel the shift at all. Needs tuning. |

I bet xDrive is selling as well as Competition, if not better... and since this is a wagon, the case for AWD slushbox is that much stronger. xDrive Competition is thus the ideal variant for the majority of M3 Touring buyers.

I also miss those shortcut programable buttons, I wish they can be done the same over the touchscreen too. Isn't it obvious? Wagons offer better driving characteristics than SUVs, while offering the utility/cargo space that's traditionally only available in SUVs. They're the perfect all-around vehicle. And there are plenty of people who want one vehicle that can "do it all."

I know everyone has a preference. If you drive the card hard the ZF8 doesn't shine like a DCT. Now, if you want a fast car to commute and won't go crazy then the ZF8 is fine
