Based on what cpippolo said, it works even with the wireless charger.
The digital key works on NFC (which is how the door unlocks; and there's no wireless charger on the door handle obviously). For starting the car, all that's needed is an NFC reader.
The wireless charger obviously had one, and the question was whether a NFC reader was available inside the car to provide digital key functionality when the wireless charger isn't preent.
And the answer appears to be yes...
