Yeah there really is no quality raptor (square bottom) style rings available yet to purchase. OSS has them, but they don't sell them separately.

yea because i emailed them regarding selling just the rings and they never responded, that sucks ..

Their website is old and not updated, look at their Facebook page, it has more info.

180 uses luce produkt led rings

Last time I checked, 180 stated that they would NOT be offering any lights with the flat bottom style AE's

Way back when, I inquired, & they stated they were waiting for quality flat bottom to become available soon - so apparently they never found a quality set they were willing to use in their products...

wifi control is pointless. bluetooth is where the money's at!

I am looking at these atm. for $40 you can really go wrong. but saying that, im comfortable with prying open my headlights.

usually those kit only comes with an IR receiver. to make it compatible with the ios/android you need to purchase a BT or Wifi controller such as this one : http://www.amazon.com/Cooligg-Wirele.../dp/B00EUVDQL0

Would you need to get replacement rings with flat bottoms to go over the LED's also? If so I bet that's where the money would be spent to get a fully functional set of raptors

The most costly part with these DTM rings is that you need to make custom covers (diffuser) ...which cost a lot. The guy that's making the prototype for me charges me $100 a piece. (Need two, one of each size)... Once I get the prototype made, production pieces will be cheaper obviously.... But I can tell u the cost of the covers will be easily over $60 for 4 pieces to cover 4halos
