I know I will take a couple heat rounds for this post but...........Can someone point me in the right direction for info on this mod? I have searched and there is so much info I don't know where to start. What is involved for an E90? Is is just a bulb or what? Assune I know nothing because I'm new to this.

You have keywords like AEs, brex, lux, Piaa to do a search and find lots of info on this.

I assume you want to change the original yellowish bulbs for the white ones?
I'd suggest lux. I have the lux 1.0 and there are plans to do a batch of lux 3.0
go to the vendor section and search for lux
add yourself to the list.

There is a DIY somewhere around so you can see what's involved.
but it requires removing wheel well liner, maybe removing wheel,
and removing a very stubborn AE bulb cover, remove old bulb, install new one, reverse. repeat for the other side. you are done.
